The Transformations Club
What do you know that we don’t?
Crystallize and share your experience, learn about others’ expertise, collaborate better!
Purpose: We contribute to transformative learning of participants, community, and educators anywhere.
Presentations: Members lead part of a session drawing on their personal experiences and using a structure they are comfortable with, such as a casual introduction, a two-member dialog, or a PowerPoint.
Discussions: The group follows up with discussion led by the presenter(s) or someone they designate.
Reflection: Sessions end with a leader asking the questions below and a note-taker summarizing answers.
What is one thing (or more) that you learned today that just clicked, or you’d never considered?
What is one question (or more) that you had that you never were able to raise today?
What is one suggestion (or more) that you would recommend that we do in future sessions?
What is one suggestion (or more) that you would recommend that we not do in future sessions?
Suggestions for topics and presenters for the next session.
Next Session Follow-up: With presenter approval, we will write and publish online at guide2expertise,org current-session summaries. Recordings will help the write-up, and if presenters desire, may be edited and published.
